Tournaments

This is a listing of tournaments I've created for use in my tabletop games. Feel free to reuse them in your own games but please give credit where credit is due?

I'll also be making new ones to throw into the mix here. But all in due time.

Skyline is a tournament designed to break in the hot new rookies to the scene. Skyline is held every year in Seattle, Washington and only fighters with a measure of fame (or renown) get invited. Not because the promoters like to jerk around new fighters, but because they can only afford to keep bringing in fighters that draw (to "draw" is to draw the crowds and/or attention). The promoters of Skyline have encountered increasing difficulty in this area as more and more corporations sponsor their own private fighting circles. Skylines claim to fame was a World Warrior fight between Guile and Deejay back in '96

The Fight Circle. An underground illegal ring of fighting bouts and tournaments held in different secretive locations throughout Bay City. Ran by the highly ellusive "Nightmaster", the fighters rarely know where they will be fighting next until next to the last minute. Purely freestyle, the Fight Circles focus far more on one on one combat than teams or stables. And the locations and organization behind the Fight Circles are kept locked away and out from noticable sight from any member of law enforcement. And while the freestyle fighting might be illegal, they do run a clean organization. Or at least the Fight Circle itself can be accurately stated as such. No one is sure what the Nightmaster does to maintain his finances, but it is safe to assume that the Fight Circle isn't his/her only source of income. Which makes the backing and purpose of the Fight Circle all the more mysterious.

GSEN: a new and up and coming edition to the ranks of exhibition fights. GSEN broke onto the scene with some considerable backing and pull within the ranks of street fighters world wide. Based out of Miami; Florida, the Global Sports Entertainment Network has quickly made it's way around the world. Invading in such a way that street fighting actually becomes a martekable resource in places where little to no fighters hail from. Rumored to have been intially started by fellow street fighters, GSEN appeals to multiple crowds with it's flare for the dramatic and expanded stables. One could go to a GSEN show and watch a freestyle match in the beginning of the night with a duelist or traditional fight for a main event.

More to come

"As I look out over the sports arena tonight I see a lot of potential. We've gathered but a handful of the rising new stars to the fighting circuit. And if you keep watching I think you'll see the next World Warrior!"
-- Kendachi Sonoma shortly after the opening of the Firelight tournament in Sydney, Australia

Yes this page is very similiar to the actual Jacksonville Jaguars of the NFL and yes this page has pictures from other copywritten sources. No permission wasn't ask prior to using them but on the same note this isn't for profit and I'm not claiming these as my own original ideas. The layout remodel and graphics workings are mine but all else is copywritten to it's respective parties or companies. This is by no means an attempt to cheat anyone out of anything, this is a fan page built to resemble an actual mixed martial arts federation page with the purpose of giving the game we play (Street Fighter the RPG) more depth and realism.
